![]() ![]() They just can't seem to handle the vibration from general driving, let alone a heavily corrugated dirt road. It is not from over use, as I have not opened the windows at all. I am worried that this will be a continual problem as the replacement side windows I received are already started to do the same thing, before I even went off road. You can see the marks left by the glue on the glass from its original position hard up into the aluminium hinge extrusion. These are some photos I took for ARB as evidence of the problem. The only thing stopping them falling out on the road was the fact that the glass was resting against the window surround.Ĭould those of you with similar canopies please check your side windows for evidence of the glass shifting in the hinge and post your findings here. Some windows were almost completely out of the hinge. ![]() ![]() Well during the trip away with the guys over easter, I got the opportunity to check out all the other ARB canopies.Įvery ute there with an ARB canopy that had lift up side windows had the glass falling out of the hinges!! I had them replaced before they fell completely out and asked the 'ARB warranty guy' if this kind of thing happens often. The side windows started slipping out of their aluminium hinges. I have had my canopy since November 2007 and had the side windows replaced under warranty about a month ago. I would just like to gather some information from those of you who have an ARB canopy with the lift up side windows. ![]()
